Europe Code Week Grant up to 6,000 EUR for International Students

Call Deadline: April 12, 2019
Value of Amount: 6,000 EUR

Program Overview

Technological change and shifts in job roles are transforming the demand for skills at a faster pace than ever before. More than 65% of students will work in jobs that don’t even exist today. As part of our commitment to help 1 million Europeans find a job or grow their business by 2020, we want to prepare today’s students for that future by getting them excited about where computer science can take them. This year, we’re happy to be involved in Europe Code Week again to support efforts that inspire students to use technology and advance their computational thinking skills, with a focus on girls and others currently underrepresented in the field.

As part of Europe Code Week, we are offering grants (up to 6,000 EUR) to organizations who want to run education initiatives that give kids (aged 5-18) a chance to engage with some hands-on learning opportunities and experience the magic of creating with technology.

Applications will be assessed on a rolling basis and must be received by April 12, 2019. Please note that due to processing times, grants could arrive after Europe Code Week, so you must be in a position to cover your operational costs upfront. **
